![]() Myself and duck or bleed were up there too with same results. One of the king I got was pretty big but Rocco got one that was 32 lbs! Biggest fish outta the river I've seen since 2006! All on 8 lb test

![]() I made my annual week-long trek up there last week along with my usual crew from up and down the eastern U.S. We had the same, plenty of fish, plenty of action and a very good amount of coho in the mix. Some highlights were the 17 lb male coho, the 8 1/2 lb brown and the small atlantic I was lucky enough to play with. While undersized at 21 inches it was still a nice little fight and damn good to see in the river!
As for your later trip FastEddie, provided the precip continues you should have fish in the other tribs yet by then. N. Sandy went to 4,000 cfs yesterday afternoon, the first big flows on the smaller Tug Hill tribs so far this fall. If you know the 'small' smaller tribs which I believe you do, you'll know where to look for some 'outta the way' prime fishing! Good luck to all who make the journey north! |
