That's a fancy jig head. I lose too many to get that fancy. The Keitechs are pricey enough! Lol. Never had much of a slippage or tail ripping problem

you're right, only use them when I'm swimming them from the boat, if it grabs something I back over it to free it. othertimes I use the cheapies!

I like natural colored ones, for walleyes I've noticed squid scent works well too. Sub 60 degree water I just hop it on bottom. This time of year I cast and let it drop to bottom. Reel it straight in at keeping within 2ft of the bottom, the closer the better. Occasionally let it die and drop to bottom. I've found I do better in warmer water with reeling it in slowly with a few pauses than hopping it like a true jig.
