brought up using mono line also. started tooling around with braid about 2 years ago. Me personally i like Spiderwire the best. I did notice that when using braid for jigging my line tended to get tangled up pretty often. I dont know if my leader line was to long or if leader line was floating to much or what but man is getting tangles out of braid a pain.
