Have you considered a pilothouse type boat such as a parker.Never get wet,put a small mr heater in cabin toasty warmin striper fishing in the fall.If it rains your good,Lots of storage and fishing room.I believe this type of boat will extend your fishing season.Just think about those big blackfish in December.
