Can't do 17th or 18th this month. For future reference though :

_ Hotel ?? How much ? I'll sleep on the floor if need be, & I don't snore ( much )
_ Car pool ?? I can meet off 287 on someone's way up. Otherwise 3.5 hr for me.
Certainly I'm in for gas & tolls. I wouldn't bring too much stuff, and I've dropped 20 lbs the past year.

_ Do most guys do one or both days ? I'm flexible. My wife has some health issues, but she may grant me leave
to do both if there are future 2 day trips..

The 18th is now full still two spots left for the 17th.

There are plenty of hotels around newport. Most guys try to do 2 day trip since it's a long trip. Car pool is always a great idea but I've driven solo.

I just got back from up there yesterday it's a very tough thing to do for 1 day & come back I'm in pain today because of it. On a another note I always book 2 days because now that we're getting into the fall season it's hard to get 2 days that are fish able. I have been fishing that area for I don't even know how many years but I only had 2 years where I was able to put together 2 days and that was in the last 8 years. Good luck the fishing up there was excellent yesterday. I really don't want to post a report for up there we got sponsors here that I don't want to get pissed at me because the boat I fish up there is not a sponsor here.
