There are many sections of river with decent current, so paddling back upstream ain't easy. We did that on a trip out of bushkill in the fall and it was a bit of a challenge. Thankfully I had waders packed, so I ended up walking the yak along the shoreline the last few hundred feet.

A paddle that wouldn’t require 2 vehicles:

Put in the river @ Bulls Island NJ St. Park. Float to the mouth of Wickecheoke Creek, Stockton, NJ.

Put in the D & R Canal & paddle back against its slow current.
