It varies. Conditions, location, presence of various baitfish, speed of the water I'm fishing etc all help dictate what I pull from my box. Anywhere from 3" to 6" plugs and soft plastics. For hard baits I gravitate to orange bellies but again, everything is variable. Some nights I throw 6 different things. Some nights I get it right from jump street.

With all the bait all over the river right now I'm surprised I caught anything!

I like them whole, stuffed w/veggies on the grill.

Wading one fall on the Big D @ dusk caught & kept a 21”er. Next cast, caught one around 30”,….had to be 10 lbs.,….my biggest ever. Released that one.

Beautiful River Eye! Ok, I must now get in my coffin so I can pop out at 11pm to get out on the lake for a full vampire moon!

Thumbs up Re: Big River walleye 7/18/16

Awesome Walleye!!!! Beautiful female! The bait in the river is off the charts! Way to go Jigman! Hope that fish filled that river with 1,000,000 eggs or so! With another heat wave coming and no rain in the forecast, more fish will move UP! Stay on that bite brother!!!
