One of the best rods I ever seen , considering weight & tapers ! Gary Loomis
Edge rod series , Hybrid models !! Not cheap but their tapers & weight simply amazing ! Picked up a couple for Flukin - Toggin - Cod !! Tapers are so unique & stacking ability unmatched to any rod except Gary's first generation Hybrid series which I'm still fishing after 20 seasons !!! But this new generation 1/2 the weight !

Can not wait to see the blackfish rod your are going to surprise me with built on one of these blanks.
 That was very nice of you. Should i send you specs i would like for my build or will you just surprise me. I like the feel of cork and like a long back grip (19" from the butt to top of reel seat)Can not wait to see the finished product.

Alex thank u very much for those accolades , however spoke with Gary & he suggested that I hold off showing finished product , he thinks it might overwhelm U so much u will lose what ever little edge that U may have ,it maybe so shocking U may end up catching less then U do now , it'll probably get so bad U need not fish anymore

OMG
Just the kind of response i expected from old salt like yourself. As for upcoming fluke trip as is normally the case i will make sure i catch my limit + so you will have some fish to bring home.
