Thanks for pointing that out. I'm a novice when it comes to flat heads but have done a lot of reading over the last two years which is why I said they don't prefer current. Many articles right or wrong point this out as a distinguishing factor between channels and flat heads. Didn't say you wouldn't find them in fast water but most articles I've read say flat heads prefer to patrol areas with lesser current. When you bow fish them during the summer do they tend to follow the edges / seams of faster water or stay in the main current?
And I agree with you which was the intent of my post, NJFG will eventually realize they have an uphill or losing battle trying to remove flat heads from the Delaware and eventually in my opinion will have to resort to a management plan in efforts to control their expansion.
