BOUNTY HUNTER-Big Bass In The Rain & Fog, 5/30
Paul had the Dave Dry charter on board the Bounty Hunter today. Unfortunately Dave had to miss the day due to a bad ankle injury but his sympathetic friends were more than willing to fish without him (LOL). Making up the crew were DJ, Jesse "The Body", Matt & Darr. We cleared the Inlet at 6AM and ran into a Pea Soup fog with occasional rain showers. The Radar never showed a Target for the entire ride up to the grounds and we found ourselves alone for the entire day. After putting out the Trolling gear the guy's had a steady pick of big Bass. At the end of the day we had gone 6 for 7 with 2 Unders and 4 Overs. The 2 largest Bass measured the same. 47" in length and both weighed 42 Lbs. After yesterday's tough fishing it was nice to fish alone in the fog & rain. It was a great day with a good crew and they will be back in November.
