First Crappie of the year

First one this year caught on a gold Panther Martin spinner in The D&R Canal Ewing.

nice fish on a spinner, it's cool to catch them on different lures. did you target crappies or was that a bonus fish?

It was a bonus as I was trout fishing but got skunked for the first time this year by them. Mr. Crappie made my day though.

I use to work in sommerset county. And I would go to the D&R after work a lot and target crappies and do quite well. That was 10 years ago happy to see they are still in there and someone is enjoying them. They are a great fish
