Sounds like it's working real good.

When is New Jersey Fish & Game going to wake up and realize that a percentage of anglers don't treat the waters like a free supermarket and start establishing no-kill zones?

Did you fish from a boat? I've never fished the Susky, but guys from iBass360 catch big ones all the time. What a fishery. That's an astounding number of bass over 18 inches you caught. Could you even do that on Grand Lake, Maine? I've fished the Delaware for years and so far my biggest smallmouth is 17 inches, lots of smaller, but nothing remotely approximating what you did.

Bruce,

I have fished everywhere that you can think of including the great lakes and Canada and I think that the Susqy beats them all. There are lots of monster fish in Lake Erie but it is not nearly as much fun as catching them in a couple of feet of water, where you can see the strike. We fish from a jet boat now but I will be going to a kayak as soon as it warms up a little more. The river is about a mile wide where I fish and you can wade the whole thing. It is a very special place.

Have you seen Joe Raymond's jet boat where you're fishing the river. He's out of the Duncannon area where I love to go and he's a guide with the most awesome jet boat on the river.

I see him out there all the time. I have fished with him many times. A great guy, guide, and fisherman.

Thanks Eric. That really is good news, especially after all the reports about the fishery being in trouble, recent years.
