I lived in the apartment over the 'Dive' (Riverside Inn) when I was in law school back in 2003-5. Those were some good times, although living over that bar probably didn't help my GPA!

The positive to this news is that the Carp are projected to grow exponentially due to the metric tonnage of corn now entering the river!

High school friend told me the smallmouths in Stony Brook were brown bass, not smallies. Well, what if we went to Rahway High and discussed that river.

Pretty sh*tty situation though. No pun intended. The timing of such an unfortunate event really stinks! Clogs up everyone's Rahway river plans for Saturday.

guys, this was last year. but if its going to keep people away, then I guess im all for it. the river is a mess right now, pooo everywhere!

I thought this was an old thread and was wondering how it got started back up again. I agree with Phil though, the Rahway River is toxic and everyone should stay far far away!
