weekend report

headed out saturday with jdtuna in hopes of jigging up some lake serpents but the bite was way off what it was last weekend. I did manage 1 on the ice jigging rod which was fin with a jigging rap but that was it. we had a few other nibbles but i'm thinking they were perch; i've caught them jigging in the area before and they were just sucking the minnow heads off.

so we picked up and set out a trolling spread with planer boards, flies, downriggers....a lot of effort for zip...not one fish (maybe one hit that didn't hook up)

sunday was a different story, took my friend out that had been on the bench for a few months with knee surgery and missed the whole (mini) ice season and so we just went for panfish and crushed them landing about 200 between the two of us, no huge ones but plenty of nice average sized fish (bunkerdunker already posted the report so i just tacked onto it)

Tough day for sure on Saturday. Pulled the hook on my only fish of the day lol. At least you got a really nice laker! Glad you guys hammered them on Sun!
