Mikey, Very nice fish bud. I have a question, is it me (not being a hard water guy) or does it seem like the bigger pike are more aggressive in the winter? I see a lot of BIG pike being caught through the ice this winter. Maybe I should start fishing for pike when I get out there again (open water) they look like a bunch of fun to catch.

I started fishing there 6 or 7 years ago and we used to park on a dead-end street on the other side and walk over to that spot. All "no parking" signs there now. I used to go out there and we could jig up 70 fish in a day and there would be 4 other people on the ice. Last couple years I won't even go there. Peace and quiet is as important for me as catching fish. Luckily I have access to a few private lakes these days.

In all seriousness, be careful eating those things...there are some legit concerns with the water quality.
