Default Fished Saturday with Chris "THE WILDMAN" 4694

Christmas night around 8pm I get a text from Chris4694, he say's sorry for the last minute notice, but I'm gonna head out fishing tomorrow on my boat, your more then welcome to join me if you want, be there at 7am. Now just to let you guy's know, we never met before, we just talked to each other from this forum from me pretty much asking questions, and Chris helping me out. So with that said, I'M IN!!!! Meet Chris at the ramp at 7am, and let me tell you, I called him "WILDMAN" because I have to give him credit, I cannot believe all the work he put's in to set it up for the day, and then re-pack everything back in the car, and as you all know, Chris Fish's A LOT !!! Anyway, chis is a awesome guy, and we had A BLAST on the water all day, laughing our ass off all day. My fist time fishing for Lakers, and we ended up with a couple for the day and also for the first time in my life I cooked up a lake trout and tried it out (I'm not a fish eater) and all I can say is WOW, it was AWESOME, I cannot believe I liked eating fish that much. With that all said, I would like to thank Chris for inviting a guy on his boat that he never met before, like i said before, that's why I really love this site, there are just a bunch of great guy's on here. Here is one of the laker's Chris caught.

I believe that one came from jigging about 2-4 foot off the bottom, in like 40 feet or so. Correct me if I'm wrong Chris.

That was on a vertical jigging rap in 40 depth, saw the mark appear up at about 25 depth, reeled it up and it smacked it.

We didn't get anything on flies and I just went out all day today and got completely skunked blades, jigs, spoons, plugs, flies...I just couldn't find fish willing to bite! Had good marks in 100 depth but too much wind to jig that deep accurately.

Pleasure fishing with you Rich! Btw I bought a new back up battery haha.
