Default Looking into buying a new/used boat

The boat is a 1990 skeeter sd 125 fs for a good price, but do you guys that already own a boat think my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee will be able to tow the boat without any problems which including a putting it into the lake and towing it out? Also do you guys think my cousin and I will be able to lift the boat and trailer from the front to push it into the garage because my street is pretty tight for me to back it in with my jeep. Also what do you guys think is the total average weight with boat, trailer, and 115 hp Suzuki motor?

Thanks for all advice and help,
Mike

can you push a car in neutral? if the answer is yes, then you should have NO problem pushing that boat into your garage assuming the front of the trailer can be cranked up on a wheel, and you're not going uphill lol

You should have no issue whatsoever towing a boat with any Jeep. Also, you should have no problem pushing a boat with someone else, even on a slight hill. Just dont let it get a rolling start.

that combo is around 2300lbs w motor and trailer, maybe a little more, a grand cherokee can tow 5-6k pounds, my buddy tows a porsche and trailer w one long distance around 5k pds. Just be careful and look the boat over well, a 1990 is gonna have alot of rigging done to it so be sure you know what your buying. the older suzuki 2 strokes are gas and oil guzzlers but skeeter always made a nice hull, Im sure its a hell of alot better than the tinny your fishing out of now

If you can push the trailer up your street then it should be able to back it up with your jeep, depending on where you live I'd show you how.
