Default Prowler5 - Thurs., July 2nd, Fluke Report

Hey gang, Capt. Scott here. We weren't out yesterday with the weather forecast scaring people away. There were 3 head boats that didn't make it out yesterday. We are out today with 30 customers. Nice 6 pounder to start the day on our first drift. There have been some nice fish being caught on our knoll just not enough of them, although there is plenty of short action. Follow up report later. Don't forget about our Saturday night special this week for fluke and porgies 3:30-9:00 and we are definitely sailing cause I have 18 people coming for sure. Also don't forget our Sunday night Wreck Special sailing every week 3:30-9:00 with Capt. Jimmy Rivelli.

Follow up report for today. We had a high hook of 4 keepers today caught by Jeff Toscano from Stanhope, NJ with his biggest going 5lbs 8oz. Our pool winner today was Wayne Gappert from Irvington, NJ with a nice 6 pounder. We worked hard for them today. See you in the morning. P.S. Because of the large crowd expected at the Atlantic Highlands Harbor tomorrow night for the fireworks, we've decided we won't run Fri.'s 3:30 trip. Parking will be very very limited and honestly I think it will be quite a hassle. We'll see you tomorrow, in the a.m. Thx., Capt. Scott
