I don't know about nets but i think the traps with bread inside should be okay. Maybe someone else can chime in

Buzzbaiter...what you're getting at here. The first pic is a smallmouth...not a rock bass. The pic from another post is a rock bass...I just copied and pasted it into this reply.

Wow - that bass is huge!
I am amazed that such an over-fished suburban lake can produce big bass like that.

I looked up the regulation on using cast nets. From what I can determine, it appears you can not use a cast net in a lake, but you can use it in a stream if trout aren't stocked there. Am I reading this right?

nice fishing guys! and from shore...awesome, i don't even have the patients to shore fish much anymore, i just haul the jon boat everywhere, until one day when my shoulders or back collapse from carrying it.

Yeah I usually take out my jon boat too but its only 10 foot so I dont feel to comfortable taking it out on Spruce and RVR
