![]() Saw quite a bit of Berganser, Teal & Widgeons diving ducks lately in small piece of open water on WANAQUE & a feeder into GREENWOOD.
This tells me that the Walleyes will be starting the spawn soon...amen! |

![]() I saw 2 big flocks of sandpipers migrating north along Delaware Bay shore Tuesday. Yesterday a fisherman told me that the fishing in the Duck island power plant has been slow this year.

![]() There was a huge flock of birds at the far end of Round Valley yesterday. From the distance I couldn't tell what they were, but my guess was seagulls. Hundreds of them if not a thousand or more over by "The Pines".
I assumed that there was open water or something there to draw them. My friend walked part way there out of curiosity and said that he thought it was a small section of open water and the mass of birds were keeping it open. |
