Default Lake H results?

Anyone know the results from today's contest on hopatcong? I swung by and jugged a bit but got skunked so moved to budd lake where I got into some white perch action

I wasn't in the contest but my buddy and I hammered some perch on jigs there at cong. Check kneedeepclub.org they usually post pretty quickly after it's over.

White perch on budd sounds like a blast though, I've been wanting to try that.

Any decent whites? Every time I tried at Budd I only caught small ones.

all small ones between 6-8". They were very picky eaters. For some reason the only thing I was able to get them to hit on were 3" repala ice gigs with mousies, all in 6-8 FOW. Tried smaller jigs, but they would not come around...

I have better success on GWL for whites. There, I usually jig them in 30+ FOW.

Hit budd lake again this afternoon. Very cold, snow blowing in face and covering flasher. Managed about a dozen small white perch, some crappie and a gill. No flags. Where's the pike!?

Two weekends ago none of our tip ups went off either and I was just picking off small crappie. Then I hooked a really nice pike. I had a snowflakes chance in hell to land it on 4 lbs line with a micro jig but I did get its head half through the hole before it cut me off.

I guess my point is... Maybe try downsizing? Idk. I haven't pulled a pike through the ice in years.
