Default 28lb 'bow released...

Idaho state law required it be released. Would have blown away the state record by 8 lbs!

That's just rediculous!!! Wow! Glad it was released...that fish deserves to be left to live having made it as long as it has. Awesome catch for that guy that he'll never forget.

Kinda looks like Idaho's version of our very own Getanet...hoodie and all!!! Could there be another??? Maybe there is one for every fish species out there spread all over the world! We got the Wiper one for sure! Just Sayin'

Reminds me a of a fish I caught a few years ago (though MUCH smaller), thick with a big hump back, almost like a pink salmon. I wonder if it's a triploid fish that escaped from some farm? Triploids can get super fat like that fish.

Absolute mutant! Congrats on a super-fish. That thing is a genetic freak. Releasing it keeps those superior genes in the fishery to make more baby mutants like her. Nice job!
