One person I forgot to thank was Hartattack. Every time I couldn't find structure you just had to look for him, yesterday he could have got a sinker stuck in a bucket of grease!

Great time on both trips, some quality fish caught, good eats, lots of ball busting and even the rain didn't keep us all away from the rail yesterday! Thanks again to Gerry and Alex for putting this whole thing together, and congrats to Drod for gaining the crown....see you guys at the Christmas party

OK.....Now that I'm finally dry and rested the detailed report.

Left the dock right at 6:30 sharp with 19 of us on board the Mimi. We headed north, got set up and as the anchors came tight, without anyone's sinkers even hitting the bottom yet, we heard the all time infamous NJFishing.com trip chorus of "This spot sucks".. It never gets old

First part of the morning we had a light south wind and a strong current running down the beach in the opposite direction, which made it difficult to stay put on the anchors... A few wiggles and adjustments here and there by Kenny and Chris and we started finding some life... Nothing crazy but enough to keep you interested.

We pretty much stayed in the same general area the whole day with some short moves and some little adjustments and then around 11 it started raining and the wind flopped out. Not being deterred Kenny and Chris kept us on the pieces as best they could, we all stayed at the rail and started to get a decent bite...

DRod was talking to himself for most of the morning but in the afternoon he got in the rhythm. Hookset refused to leave the rail to put his rain gear on and got soaked. Dfish was into fish almost the entire time and I think he limited out, if not on the togs then certainly the Budwisers. Kurtis was patient and had a few nice fish and busted off what I think may have been a contender. Blackfish Bobby, Dupes and Thing did OK. I did not think that was the case until I skated up to the bow and saw Thing quietly putting more then a few fish in their team cooler, not wanting to draw attention to the bite they had going there for a while

Alex had a good day with 4 or so, I got 3, I think Reefsquatter had 3 and the 2 Joey's Murr and dah Fish had a tough day along with HD Marc. I think As mentioned above HartAttack donated a ton of tackle and he had 1 or 2 as did Capt Yasar.

The tag team of Cadi and Salt, who were set up with me, right in what I think is the best spot on the Mimi, right behind the microwave, had a tough day. Scotty, a former PUOSU champ who is usually right in the mix was a bit off his norm and could not find the sun. Our other former champ JLrotary had 3 or 4 but no contenders.

Lots of laughs and skating... Funny that everyone was so interested in hearing how others thanksgiving were after they caught a fish

Once I get all the accounting done, I will take great pride in having the pleasure of representing you all and our sponsors when I see the Wells family and present them with a nice Christmas present from all of you.

All in all another great PUOSU with the most supportive, generous and friendly group of fisherman in NJ. Thank you all for coming out to show your support and all the best from my family to you and yours for the upcoming holidays. A special thanks to my partner in crime MVP for all his help coordinating everything and to eveyone who brought food, drinks and snacks.

Hope to see you all at the party.

Another great trip for an awesome cause. Lab was one of a kind. I'm glad that we can remember him in this way.

Good job Gerry and Alex. Hope you keep it going. I'll be there to support you.
