Default Native brook trout - 10/18

I fished a small trib to a reservoir seeking colorful brookies. Didn't find many adults - caught 14 little guys in the 3-4" range - but did get a nice-sized doe and buck fish. Does have the rounded snout and not as brightly colored; Bucks have the more sharp snout and brightly colored with the orange/red flanks.

Nice wild fish.
Plan to do that all next week when up on LG at my cabin.
I love the looks you get fishing those little holes from people who have no clue.
By far the best spots are what 99% overlook and walk by.

They both have a surprised look on their faces. I guess they weren't expecting to run into you there.
