Hit Lake M on Sun with the wife for about 5 hours. Not expecting much with the blue bird skies and the cold AM temps after all that rain...plus they treated the lake to kill the weeds so it looked like chocolate milk with all of the dying plant matter and I think it put the fish in a funk. But it was just too nice of a day not to get out on the water...beautiful out there today. True to form it was a really slow day. I got one nice sized Pickeral in the first hour and a nice chunky LM about 3 lbs in the last hour of that day...that was it. (Sorry forgot to bring the pic with me so I couldn't attache it) The wife got the skunk....which is never good for the family! Walking on egg sheels the rest of the day if you get my drift.
To top it off when we go to leave someone parked directly behind my trailer so I couldn't back out. It's a small lot to begin with and there must have been something going on in town so it was packed with cars. But this "person" parked about 5 feet behind me perpendicular to how I was parked. I had to disconnect my trailer and pull it around this "persons" car over to the launch. Then back out and hook back up to get out. If there was another trailer parked next to me I never would have been able to get out. The seemingly endless amount of "inconsiderate people" is astounding to me. And yes I typed this with the words I wanted to use and then went back and cleaned it up for publication. Sorry for the rant but I feel better now.
