7. Shoreline fishing on state land along the Passaic River is permitted.

Both websites say fishing(shore & boat) is okay and I've also gotten an email from them confirming this. However, the land is posted with the signs below which say no fishing. Its good for scaring off those who don't know any better

And PLEASE if you see the ATV hooligans riding around back there, call the number listed on the sign.
