August 11th Fluke and Bluefish Report Past Few Days!

The Fluke fishing seems to be improving everyday says Capt. Matt!!!!! Lots of shorts along with a good amount of keepers coming over the rail and in the pail along with a few keeper Sea Bass in the mix he said. We have not been fishing to much rough bottom but some small hard spots have a few Sea Bass on them. From what I can see, everything has been working (bucktails, gulps, squid, spearing, ect)! Our Monthly Pool leader is holding at 8lbs 1oz! There are some bigger ones around so come on down and see if you can catch them!!!!

Capt. Matt reports after the great fishing on Friday and Saturday night, it was REALLY hard to see Bluefishing go down hill on Sunday night. I really could not believe it he said!!! I looked all over but wound up with nothing to show for it. Tonight, I went back out there and it was the same thing!!! We caught 1 Blue around 10lbs and lost one. I then came inshore and wound up catching the 1lbers good around the boat with many anglers having there limit of 15! Matt says I am almost POSITIVE that this full moon has a lot to do with it. The current where we have been fishing was screaming last night and tonight! They do see plenty of them out there during the daytime, just when that moon comes up they disappear and can't find them. Not to worry though, we and now on the down swing of this moon and should see them back here at night before the weekend!!!!!

Stop by our Photo Gallery or Facebook Page to check out a few photos of the action the past few days!!!!!
