Default Re: Spruce Run?

For bass work the shore. Edges of weed beds, fallen timber, stumps, etc.

Try plastics like a Zoom trick worm or Senko (dark colors always work best for me), wacky rigged and unweighted. Or if you want to go deeper, use a Carolina rig or dropshot. Google those for info, there is tons of info out there on how to rig them, including Youtube videos.

Also spinnerbaits, jigs, tube jigs and sinking Rapalas and other crankbaits.

In early morning, late evening or night try working the shore and weeds with topwater plugs. Smithwick Devil Horse, Jitterbug, Heddon Torpedo, Zara Spook or the traditional floating Rapala work nicely. I've been getting good topwater results with a Rebel Frog-R lately. I also like the Rapala Skitterpop for topwater.
