Default passaic river

been hearing a lot of good things about the passaic and the smallmouth in there, so i figured id launch my 12fter and give it a shot. caught two nice ones on a white spinnerbait... its crazy how such beautiful fish can come out of that river!

Welcome to the board.

I fished the Passaic River as a kid in the 1980's, but dismissed it as just a putrid river of filth, inhabited by carp and bullheads. Then I I joined this forum.

My interest peaked by the posts on this forum, I gave the river another shot last summer and was genuinely surprised by what I was pulling out of there.

No such thing as spot burning on NJF !! Welcome. The more I fished with others the more I learned about fishing in general, keep the reports coming in !

I've caught BIGGER smallies in the Passaic River than in the Delaware!
