![]() You just need to get the shear pin assembly. It's very easy to fix. I had the same thing happen to mine last year and bought the part for a few bucks and fixed it in LT 5 minutes. As someone else mentioned, Franks in Wanaque sells the parts. That's where I got mine. Make sure you have the model of your motor though. WalMart may have them but probably only for models they sell.

![]() Always keep an extra pin in the boat. 5 min fix and it doesn't have to ruin your day. Very common issue

![]() As common as it is, it's happened to me once in my life. Luckily it was at Round Valley and I had the outboard on. If I was at Merrill Creek or one of the watershed lakes I would have been SOL. I keep forgetting to put the oars in the boat for emergencies. Anyway, when I bought the new shear pin it came as a 2 pack, so the other one is in my tackle box just in case.
