Default Big D Easton area

I met my brother out by his place to see if we could get some action on the Delaware in the Easton area. Started out by the mouth of the Bushkill, and my brother tags a 17" brookie on a spinnerbait. Not an in-line spinner, but a safety-pin style, double-willowleaf bladed spinnerbait. We went on to fish a couple of spots just north of there, but sadly that would be our only fish for the day. Water was still a few feet high and off-color, and the current was really ripping in that part of the river.

Damn! I hate when a day begins so promising and just flat craps out like that! Still a nice job on the brookie though, congrats to your brother!
