4/12 largemouth

Went to the local mud puddle looking for a topwater bite. Couldn't get them to do it. Small spinners and roadrunners 4" under the surface got bit. I had 5 10"-12" bass and a sunny in 25 minutes. I am going to try Monday after work, think a few more degrees and an approaching cold front will get them up top.

Mostly 9"-12" in the pond. Catch a few 2-3lbers every year. It is all under 3 feet deep so usually good topwater action. What town? Quite the spot burn for dinks..*L*
