![]() Have never fished this early, nor have I personally ever done well with Clams or Worms for the Striped ones.... What would you guys recommend? Stick it out with Clams?

![]() With the right conditions and water temps march and April can be crazy productive months.
Clams are king early I use 25-30lb fluro with a fishfinder and 5/0 or 6/0 gami baitholder Once bunker are the bait different ball game. I'm not a huge fan of worms early as I have found they rarely out fish clsm in the bay and usually get smaller fish. But I change the hook to a 3/0 baitholder if I do use them. Good luck |
