Manalowkin bridge prob be your best bet Richie. Watch the traffic though. My buddy fished from manahawkin to the bb today with one spider crab. That included the outflow in fr too. Water is 43 in the bay and 53 in the creek

Richie, don't go to Barnegat bay. The water there is still a bit too cold! The Shark River bulkhead is in the right range at the last 3 hours of the outgoing and they have been catching ok. I was there on Saturday Rich, and there was 6 fish caught from there. In those 3 hours, 5 were caught in the last hour. The best bait seems to be mussels, but I saw two fat 15 inchers were caught on bloodworms. Look up the tides for Shark River Bay.

Hope ya try there Richie.

Ben

Shark river is right next to the party boats in Belmar, go right by the boat slip or tennis courts that's closer too

I drive through both ways, everyday as you know Joe, and haven't even seen a boat out in the river or in the upper bay nor have I seen anyone on the "pier" adjacent to the bridge. Interest is just not there - it's hard to get a report when very few guys are trying

Was actually thinking of hitting either the pier or Shark River this Sunday for a few hours.
