How local? Raritan bay? The water in the bay has been around 36 to 38 degrees all day. Way to cold....... even though I guess at some point these fish have to move in to eat.

It was finally in the bay and more like dumb luck with a little peice of mind behind it....water tempts off the internet don't mean much to me this time of yr im targeting specific areas that fish will hold b.c they are warmer if you get readings in ten plus ft of water of course itl be colder same as if you fish next to a river or creek they will be colder b.c of the fresh water ruin off with the ice and snow melt .they are there just got to put your time in to figure them out
