If you're not a kid, think about taking one of the neighborhood kids if not your own. There certainly will be enough fish around so they can have some success.

Eddie.......My U.C. crappie spot is iced over too, but the best fishing I've had there is just as the ice starts to melt. The fish seem to hang out right under the edge of the ice and they eat anything that comes near them.

Maybe I'll see you out there. Some very nice Perch and Crappie in UC. I still frequent my home Rahway River waters from time to time. Some nice stretches indeed. Winfield used to be a highly fished spot when I was a youngster. AHHHH, the good old days!
