Default Evening / Night fishing RVR

Anyone ever fish the evening at RVR? was thinking about heading down after work for a few hours to do some jigging.

I actually havent heard of safe ice there all season except earlier this year some coves had ice. Problem is the trout are up and cruising w the cold water, the damn lakers hugging bottom out deep is what everyone wants to drill a hole on

I'd ping these guys: https://www.facebook.com/roundvalleyfishing

They're out there quite a bit lately. They'd be able to provide you with info I'm sure... Or call Behre's.

Main boat ramp area locked tight. Thin ice as you walk toward the point on the right. Lots of rainbows being caught. Campers launch is locked as well. Seem to get more variety on the campers launch side.

Be safe and if you go at night keep in mind the campers launch/ swimming area will be closed.

LOL, that was me out there on the main lake by the launch. Got out there set up some tip ups started to jig and but my flasher crapped out on me so I only stayed until 6:30. Got nothing - spoke to one guy who was there all day and he almost caught one but dropped it at the hole.
