Default Re: Naples Fla

I as well feb 16-24 by inlaws in Naples. I usually fish the Naples pier every day or so in down town naples. Not exciting but beats laying in the sun on the beach.
They usually have a good run of spash macks, sheephead off the docks, and various bottom feeders.
The dock crew there are a great bunch of local guys. I have got to know em over the past 8 years.
One guy has a boat who usually takes me out once or twice while I'm there.
One year I charter kayak fished down in the Chokoloski 10,000 islands area for reds, trout, and snook. We did well on trout but were invaded by lady fish. If this interests you let me know as two anglers get a better rate. Its just over an hour ride from Naples.
The pier is really the only place I fish down there as I don't know where else to go.
Charter boats I don't think are that pipular in this area but there are a few private fishing boats down by Tin Alley but look touristy.
Mabey you know a spot or a guy.
Let me know what you want to do. I'm down to fish. Like I said I'll be on the pier usually daily. Its not supberb fishing but its fishing.
