Saw the video on YouTube a couple days ago. Sick fish, amazing catch!!!! That fish fought like a champion and so did the angler. Great stuff!!!

Not that one and I grew up on Lake Ontario where we had some nice battles with the trout in the lake.....hoping to make a return trip this summer for some good 'ol lake fishing

I did battle with alot of lakers on RV when there were many fish 10lbs and over. Bigger ones swim down down and down ....... they get a bad name in these parts now. Mostly because people aren't getting them in the 10 to 25lbs at RV anymore. Merrill Creek is starting to produce some bigguns from what I hear.

they say the same thing about walleyed perch but i love catching them too...

guy ine the video has a nice laker stick... can't wait to get on a pile of lakers... hopefully sometime this winter... anyone fish lake charlston in provincial park ontario? reading a ton of good stuff about it

I spring laker fish up on LG. Ultra light trout pole, 4 lb test. The only way its fun unless you hook a skob like was done here. Otherwise yea fighting a wet towel until they hit the warm water theromo cline, then they fight a little trying to get back to colder water but its a short fight.
