No more pee wees, now monster blues further off to the NE. I'm sure everybody concerned would rather the blues took hold at SRR like before along with the exotics. Not like they are avoiding it on purpose. They wouldn't have to all jockey over a tiny spot of bottom. There's also a bunch of people you don't see the whole year all of a sudden there for albies. Shorter ride for most and clean water. The albies eventually work their way to the NE but tough to catch in the muddy water there.

Curses. Last year was my first year hitting up albies and skippies. It was insane fishing and I was wondering how the hell i missed out on this before.
I guess last year was just a banner year then.....was hoping to get a few skippies this year. They were surprisingly tasty if u bled them into an ice slurry immediately. What are people getting the bonitos on? Tsunamis near topwater? |
