All comes down to water temps. End of Aug early sept can be prime time for big fish.

New to the site but I was at the meeting where they extended the season 8 days. It definitely ends Sept 23. They have had troubles in the past updating their website.

It was exstended a week more also sept.....Deep channel/wreck fishing could be epic

Like MVP said depends on water temps - back in the day some of my biggest fish came in October on whole squid . Love the fall flukies

Personally this year I think the fish are just going to be getting bigger as we get closer to the end of fluke season
