Default Greenwood Lake mixed bag w/bonus teeth

Being that I am not a Trout guy, the plan was to stay far away from the Opening Day madness. Loaded the kayaks up and headed up to Greenwood Lake and enjoyed some good fishing. Started in the shallows and was greated by a gorgeous juvenile Muskie on a shallow running jerkbait. Switched to a small husky jerk and picked up a few fat Yellow Perch. The wind died down late afternoon, so we headed out to deeper water for some jigging. The action was fast and furious til sundown, with double digit Crappie coming up from 35ft, along with a few White Perch.

Highlight of the day was a Crappie that was still getting his bearings back getting picked off by a BALD EAGLE no more than 75ft off our kayaks. Awesome moment and I didn't feel so bad knowing my fish probably fed a nest of hungry Eagles . No huge fish, but beautiful weather and good action. Spring is here, Gentlemen!

Way to go Skunk! My buddy has a house near that lake. Fished it a few times with him. Had some success with smallies and LMBs on jigs and lipless cranks. Hope to get out there again this year. Nice catches.

I've only been really fishing it since November but have done fairly well there. Big, LONG lake that I've only checked out a small portion of. I need to leave the kayak at home and explore it a bit in my roommates 14'/9.9. Too many places to fish, too little time!

Nice fish man. Looks like a fun day. Hopefully you'll get a monster
soon. I was bass fishing in the cove on the southwest side of the lake and saw a musky that wasn't too much smaller than your kayak haha. Cant imagine what it would be like to catch one in a kayak!
