When you are catching blue fish and not keeping them.. I will not gaff the fish... Unless its a 20+ pound beast.. Why kill it.. Swing them over the rail.. and throw em back.. Duck or Bleed style.. Have seen some monsters swung over the rails with no problems.. and of course you get jigs and hooks popping out but its all part of the game..
