![]() Fished SBR starting in high bridge by ballfields. 1 brookie @17" around 830 in a riffle. 1 bow 16" in califon around 1030 in a relatively deep run. 2 hits and 2 fish - both fish on power bait, both released. water is low and cold (surprise). didnt see any other fishermen in high bridge. the park in califon had about a dozen, mainly fly fishermen. saw 1 nice bow ~19" on a stringer, no one seemed friendly. was a nice change to be by myself instead of standing shoulder to shoulder with people @speedwell yesterday.

![]() I can second that, that's one reason i really don't fish the streams till jan, feb, and beginning of march. I may not catch as many fish but almost all of my big fish came during those months. Your lucky to see one or two guys out then and i usually have the steam to myself. I quit trout fishing many years ago because i couldn't stand being elbow to elbow fishing for those little stockies. People tangling each other , walking thru the hole i was fishin and just plain stupidity! Oh I forgot we're in JERSERY!!!!!!!!LOL
