![]() My family and I made out very well in the storm, no serious loss to house in NNJ, and the house in bradley beach on Ocean Ave. has no power but little damage, didnt flood and only some soffits blew off, prob 1 day repair thank god. Gas is available up in PA, I took 2 rides so far first milford then beyond and didnt have 2 wait, and I took care of the desperate people around me. Remember its easy to drain your boat tank using the primer to start the siphon, we got 14 gallons out of my 17'footer thank god it was almost full. If anyone really needs help w anything email me were 100% over here........

![]() My family and myself are safe here in Kenilworth. We have full power and full gas tanks. How does NNJ look Jimmy? Are most roads open, trees cleared? How about power? Going to be frigid this weekend. I hope everyone gets there power back.

![]() No power still at my house...man it's cold, and no hot water either!
1/4 tank of gas in the truck, there is no where to go anyway. Fortunately there is power and heat at work and it's only 3 miles away. If I eat one more chicken parm. sandwich from the only place open around here I'm gonna puke. The wife is a property insurance claims manager.....she's busier then a one legged person in an ass kicking contest. The house is safe if not frozen. We are pretty lucky all things considered. |

![]() Things are starting to look up in Monmouth County. It seems like most places away from the shore are starting to get power back. Gas stations are back up and running, long lines to get in today, though.

![]() my work is in Newton, we have power there and the immediate area, roads r open some stuff has power lines at all gas stations. I live in roxbury/randolph border and there still isnt a light on from newton to the ledgewood circle, but the roads r open and passable. House never lost power and work did mon night we got it back early wed morn. luckily. Like I said I had to run to PA to get gas thats your best bet if you really need some, and bring alot of 5 gallon cans. I might go do a little fishing this weekend close to home, I got a full tank and some spare gas Im goin thru withdrawals lol.....

![]() My power came on in Bridgewater last night. With 2 little ones I'm very happy it came back on to get the heat running for the cold weather rolling in. Hope Wilson and everyone else without power fare OK this weekend and get it back soon.
I topped my tank up in Easton PA last night. It's a little over an hour round-trip for me and I reckon time-wise it was probably quicker than getting on one of the lines closer to my house. Hopefully the gas distribution issue is resolved after the weekend, people are getting a little frayed on the edges and it's surprising there haven't been more ugly incidents than the lunatic who cut the line and pulled a gun on those who complained in NY.
