I saw 5 of them cruise by yesterday in my 4+ hours on shore, one being a golden trout when I first got to my spot. A pair of rainbows hanging out together came up close that were easily over 6 LBS each, it really gets your heart racing when you see that.
Sadly, all of them had a bad case of lockjaw. ![]()

Like the big ones they put in the rivers in the fall, 2 to 3 weeks before they chew. They have alot of body mass they can play with, and the water is VERY cold. On average they will lose 1 to 2 lbs. before being caught.
