Does anyone know if Deal Lake has any wheelchair accessible spots. Is there good bank fishing or is a boat my best bet? Looking to catch something.

The part of the lake between Asbury and Loch Arbour that is east of Main street is very accessible. The rest of the lake is pretty tough without a boat as it borders mostly all private residents. There are a few spots you could get in, but with a wheel chair it would probably be pretty tough. I have been catching all my fish along the fallen trees and private boat docks west of main street.

There is a concrete launching ramp on the Asbury Side across from the 7-11. It is kinda steep but is solid concrete and was just redone. Kayaks would work. The lake is pretty big with a ton of fallen trees and docks. Water is always dirty brown, and I would not eat any of the fish out of there.

I see in the NJ Fish & Wildlife Digest that Deal Lake will be getting a Warmwater Stocking of
416 (8-12") Muskellunge and also 1600 (6") Northern Pike. That sounds like some great future fishing in there.
