so the fish have migrated up the whole river to the hatchery and there's no reports online.

Well when i say there fish in the ladder i meant a handful that saw personally saw for myself. Not sure what they were. All were in 5-7lb range.

I believe those were browns at the hatchery

Yea just something that made an early run. I heard rumors of a few Atlantic's also.

I heard of some skamanian steelhead also in the river

Always a few skams and atlantics in early. Fact is the skams are essentially a 'summer-run' steelhead by nature. You'll sometimes see some big smallies in the ladder too, or at least in the creek at the outfall.
