Default Paramount Sunday

Went out with a fairly light crew for a weekend. It was a bit bouncy but fishable. Fishing was a pretty steady pick of ling with some cod, pollack and sea bass mixed in. Most people had 10 or 12 mixed fish. Ling ran the gamut from tiny to real logs. Rental rods did pretty much as well as the few regulars on board. The pool was a 17lb pollack.

I wound up with 2 sea bass and 16 ling because I was a real wreck magnet today. Regular Herb Dinger had a great day with a 10lb pollack, 2 sea bass, a 2lb lobster and 23 ling. Gray cod were fierce on the high hook, but all the cod and pollack came up high. So the question of the day is am I willing to catch 20 doggies to possibly catch a cod or pollack. I decided to stay low and had no cod, but only 3 doggies. Got accused of trying to steal a bucket of doggies when moving things around for the wash hose, a first for me.
