We are lucky we even got the season we did... Yes you might limit out in an hour.. but u can still target porgys, cod, pollock, ling, etc.. And yes we all know that the fish you bring up and throw back don't always make it back down and die.... Maybe more people should learn and use a venting tool.. I vented my fish on my last trip once i had my limit and i watched 99% of them swim back to down. I limited out in 45 mins.. then played catch and release along with helping some others out that were sick.. I picked up a few short of a limit of porgys as well.. It was a great trip..

Charlie wasn't guilty of anything, by the sound of it. When you have 15 in the box and choose to put more in, that's a personal choice. Charlie announces the limits at the beginning of each trip.

Charlie had nothing to do with it.. think about it. 2 mates and a caption.. We can not watch everyone.. So when the pirates take more then there limit most of the time the crew did not even know.. Or they find out when its time to clean the fish and by then the damage is done.. Or the guys who keep them whole.. No one ever knows unless the F&G does what they do.. More power to them... I have never once complained about them boarding us or checking our fish when we get in.. It is there job and im glad that they do it!!

The captain and boat are not responsible. The people that chose to keep more than their limits are responsible.

They took a calculated risk that did not pay off. Now they should pay up.
